Sam founded Samuel James Recruitment in 2020, after the best part of a decade recruiting in construction. Today the desk is built around one thing: finding operations, preconstruction and estimating people for general contractors and self-perform contractors across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio Valley and Texas.
He works with national self-perform concrete contractors, regional and national general contractors, and heavy civil and water firms, on everything from project engineer hires to senior superintendent and operations leadership searches.
Sam runs every search personally. That means one point of contact, candidates who have been phoned and properly qualified before their name reaches you, and an honest view of the market, including when an offer or a brief needs to change.
